Kyle and Tiffany met in Hermosa Beach, CA on a popular dating app in June of 2017. After going out on a few dates things became serious and they began spending a lot of time together. In February of 2018 Kyle was offered a job in Greensboro, North Carolina and they made the decision to move there together.
After dating for about a year a half Kyle and Tiffany made plans to get away for the weekend of her birthday in January 2019. At this point she was convinced that Kyle was going to propose based on a few clues she had thought that she figured out. She was ready, she got her nails done and away they went to Ashville for the weekend. On the evening of Tiffany’s birthday Kyle presented her with a small box. This was it! But it was earrings. The quote of the night was “if only you could have seen the disappointment in your face.” A few weeks go by, and Tiffany and Kyle decide to go out on the town for some dinner drinks and dessert. After getting ready and making sure everything was perfect they started to head out the door. But wait! Kyle said he had something that would match those earrings perfectly! Another box came out and this time it was the perfect engagement ring!
Kyle and Tiffany will be getting married at the Millennium Center in downtown Winston-Salem North Carolina, on Leap day February 29th 2020. The dress will be cocktail and the ceremony and reception will be adult only.
The building was originally constructed in 1906 to be used as the City of Winston Post Office. The building has since housed the United States Post Office, US Federal Court, US Attorney, FBI, US Marshal, Military enlistment offices and the IRS - until 1992 when it was abandoned and all operations moved to North Winston-Salem.
In 1994 it was purchased, brought back to its original grandeur, and converted into a nationally known special event center. It has been the location for films such as Leatherheads, House of Cards, and the academy award winning short film Two Soldiers. In addition, major musical stars and celebrities have performed and appeared there: Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Robert Cray, George Clinton, John Mayer, Matchbox 20, Alice in Chains, Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelo, Jack Nicholson and many more. It has also hosted its fair share of weddings.
The closest airport is the Piedmont Triad International, GSO. It's also worth checking Raleigh and Charlotte (RDU, CLT) which are about an hour and a half drive.
A block of rooms have been set aside at The Marriott and Embassy Suites. Both hotels are walking distance from the venue.
